Flights exempted from en-route charges (applicable from 3. 3. 2022)
a) flight performed under VFR;
b) flight performed by aircraft with a maximum authorised take-off weight which is less than two metric tons;
c) flight performed exclusively for the purpose of transport, on official mission, of reigning Monarch and his immediate family, head of state, head of government and government ministers, where it is substantiated by the appropriate status indicator or remark on the flight plan that the flight is performed exclusively for that purpose;
d) search and rescue flight authorised by the appropriate competent body;
e) police flight;
f) observation flight authorised by the appropriate competent body;
g) flight in military service of the aircraft owned by the USA or Canada, authorised by the appropriate competent body;
h) flight of a NATO-owned drone operating NATO's ground-based observation system, authorised by the appropriate competent body;
i) flight for air transport of rescue unit, experts or cargo for humanitarian purposes as assistance for Ukraine with the appropriate designation or remark in the flight plan and aircraft for evacuation of persons from a place of danger to their health or life in the territory of Ukraine to a safe place in Slovakia or through the territory of a safe place in other State with the appropriate designation or remark in the flight plan.
Flights exempted from terminal charges (applicable from 3. 3. 2022)
a) police flight;
b) observation flight authorised by the appropriate competent body;
c) flight in military service of the aircraft owned by the USA or Canada, authorised by the appropriate competent body;
d) flight performed exclusively for the purpose of transport, on official mission, of reigning Monarch and his immediate family, head of state, head of government and government ministers, where it is substantiated by the appropriate status indicator or remark on the flight plan that the flight is performed exclusively for that purpose;
f) search and rescue flight authorised by the appropriate competent body;
g) flight performed by aircraft with a maximum authorised take-off weight up to and including 2 000 kg;
i) flight for air transport of rescue unit, experts or cargo for humanitarian purposes as assistance for Ukraine with the appropriate designation or remark in the flight plan and aircraft for evacuation of persons from a place of danger to their health or life in the territory of Ukraine to a safe place in Slovakia or through the territory of a safe place in other State with the appropriate designation or remark in the flight plan.
